The X-GUARD safety protections are versatile, functional and easy to install. They allow the creation, expansion and modification of any type of fixed protection in a simple and cost-effective manner. X-Guard complies with the Machinery Directive for fixed guards All.1 Chap.1.4.2.1. The fixing of the guards must be achieved with systems that require specific tools for their opening or removal. Since 29/12/2009, the fixing systems must remain attached to the guards or to the machine when the guards themselves are removed

The extensive selection of doors, locks and accessories, such as safety switches, cable sheaths and cable trays, provides a complete solution for machine protection. The system’s flexibility allows the combination of mesh panels with panels made of plastic or metal thanks to a wide variety of dimensions.
It is a perimeter protection with rounded corners, not only ideal for confined spaces but also aesthetically pleasing. The panels are available in three heights 1300, 1900 and 2200 mm and in two angles, 45° and 90°. The standard colour is RAL 9011, but the panels can also be adapted to the customer’s specific requirements.
It is an alternative to X-lock and can incorporate an internally mounted non-contact safety switch (magnetic, RFID …). The lock, with an adjustable latch for any internal play, features a spring-return handle to eliminate the possibility of accidental closure; in fact, to close the door fully an intentional actuation of the handle is required. A keyed lock is also available.
